The Eee PC 1005HA is the long battery life version of the super this "Seashells" of the the Asus netbook lineup. The 1005HA is only 1-inch thick and weighs around 3 pounds with battery. It includes a 10-inch screen, the new Intel Atom 1.66GHz N280, 1GB DDR2 RAM, a 160GB SATA hard drive, Windows XP Home and a 10.5-hour battery. Like the 1000HE the best thing about the new N280 Atom is not the .06GHz speed gain, but the faster 667MHz front side bus - up from 533MHz for the N270. The 1005HA also includes the new 92% sized keyboard that is much easier to use. Asus also throws in 170GB of free online storage.
